This is Pastor Renata Acuna, the founder of Global Peace and Love Ministries (Global PALM).

Pastor Renata Acuña

Background

Pastor Renata Acuña was born in Lithuania. She came to Canada speaking minimal English, which made communicating with those around her difficult. She cried in frustration for many nights about her inability to express herself. During this time, she did not believe in God. Only after experiencing many spiritual battles did she turn to Jesus. With His help and deliverance, her life was never the same again.

God asked her to quit her job in sales and marketing and go to seminary. She disobeyed God initially because her family needed her salary. However, when she got sick because of her disobedience, she submitted herself to God.

Education

Pastor Renata went to school, obeying God’s calling for her life. Pastor Renata has two degrees from Liberty University: BSc in Religion and a BSc in Psychology with specialization in Christian Counseling. She additionally has a Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry from Tyndale Seminary. Currently, she is doing her Doctor of Ministry at Wycliffe College at University of Toronto.

Ministry

Pastor Renata’s passion is to serve God and His people and share His love with everyone. Through serving in multiple churches, she has seen the various ways people were hurt and left churches as a result of man-made rules and regulations. She believes wholeheartedly in the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ, and is committed to preaching the Word of God in an easy-to-understand way. Most importantly, her prayer is that through this ministry, people would be able to experience God’s love and peace. She hopes people will find freedom in Christ.

Personal

Pastor Renata loves spending her time with her four children and husband. She is thankful to God for them every day of her life. Her family has been with her every step of the way. They have followed her to many different churches where she preached God’s Word. Through all these years, she has given Jesus all the praise and glory for being able to succeed academically and in the workplaces. Without God she can do nothing.
